My sculpture is informed by my love of animals. Regardless of how human intervention with wolves formed and moulded breeds to create physical and temperamental standards, every dog still has its own personality.
BAD DOG, ARTHUR! whimsically juxtaposes the Labrador Retriever, an obedient and eager-to-please family dog with the Punk subculture movement of the 80s. It is an expression of non-conformity and individualism, revealing the individual behind the purebred.
