Iron, Coloured Cable Wire

Connectivity is a large-scale sculpture installation, inspired by microscopic pollen grains and seeds. These organic forms embody a sense of both natural and built environments. The wire structures hold a sculptural physicality that contain a sense of interior and external space. Wire connects us to data, cables guitar strings streetcar lines fences and more, mapping a moving topographical representation of our encounters and connections in society. The see-through nature of the interwoven wire throw shadows on the surface producing a nuanced temporality, imitating the ways we interact, separate and regroup in the spaces we live, work, and play.
